This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you. It applies to website visitors, prospective customers, customer representatives, and users of the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- contact and business information, such as your name, work email, company, role, and the contents of demo or contact requests;
- account, authentication, and organization information, including identifiers, roles, permissions, and audit events;
- agent inputs and outputs processed transiently to perform requested governance and routing. We do not retain general agent conversations as a product dataset. We may retain a limited prompt or response preview, score, hash, or related record when needed for a security control, human-review workflow, audit, or incident investigation;
- tenant configurations, policies, guard definitions, control datasets, feedback, and other content submitted to or generated through the Services;
- subscription, contract, billing, and payment-related identifiers. Payment card details are generally collected and processed by our payment provider rather than stored by us; and
- technical and usage information, including IP address, browser or device type, operating system, timestamps, request identifiers, diagnostic information, and feature usage.
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. We may also receive information from identity providers, hosting and security providers, business partners, and sources you authorize.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; respond to requests; authenticate users and manage organizations; process contracts and payments; monitor usage and enforce limits; detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents; provide support and communicate about the Services; comply with law and protect rights; and create aggregated or de-identified information.
We do not use customer-submitted content to train, fine-tune, or improve our TG-Sentinel or TG-Sentinel:Embedding models. We do not access customer tenant databases or use their contents as training data. Customer content is processed only as needed to provide the requested governance, evaluation, enforcement, support, and security features, or as otherwise agreed with the customer.
3. AI Features and Customer Content
Theseus Guard provides its own fine-tuned guardrail model family: TG-Sentinel:Fast, TG-Sentinel:Max, and TG-Sentinel:Ultra. These models operate as stateful governance layers around a customer's AI agents, including pre-execution input checks and post-execution output checks, with the exact path depending on the configured deployment and policy. TG-Sentinel:Embedding is our embedding model. It converts relevant input into an embedding and compares it with tenant-scoped control datasets in a vector database to produce a governance score. These models support security and governance decisions; they are not the customer's general-purpose task model.
Customers may route agent inference through model APIs made available through the Services, including AWS Bedrock, OpenRouter, Vercel, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, subject to the applicable configuration and provider terms. Customers may also use bring-your-own-key (BYOK) credentials for supported models through the LiteLLM-compatible integration. In those cases, the selected provider may process inputs and outputs under the customer's configuration, contract, and the provider's privacy terms.
The Services may retain limited system records needed for security, governance, billing, reliability, and audit purposes. For example, when the system marks a prompt or response as harmful or requiring review, a related record may be stored in the customer's isolated tenant database so the customer can conduct a human review and record a decision. These tenant-scoped review records and control datasets are not available to Theseus Guard personnel through ordinary Service operation and are not used to train our models. We may retain limited metadata, hashes, scores, identifiers, timestamps, and operational logs needed to operate the Services, subject to the applicable agreement and tenant settings.
AI outputs and governance scores can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular decision. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive information unless the feature or your agreement specifically requires it.
You retain rights you may have in content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support the Services, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to vendors that host, secure, authenticate, support, analyze, or provide infrastructure for the Services; identity and payment providers; affiliates and professional advisers; auditors, insurers, or transaction counterparties subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations; when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the Services; and with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we first provide any notice and choice required by applicable law.
5. Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Services. Customer content and tenant-scoped review data may be retained according to the applicable agreement, tenant configuration, soft-delete lifecycle, and documented retention settings. Governance and provenance records may be append-only and retained for audit, compliance, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Support requests, account activity, session records, limited request/response previews, scores, hashes, and operational logs may be retained for those same purposes. When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it, subject to backups and legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. International Transfers
Theseus Guard is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and request portability. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. The GDPR-specific rights and procedures are described in the GDPR Privacy Notice, and additional U.S. rights are described in the U.S. State Privacy Notice.
8. Children, Third Parties, and Changes
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required by applicable law. Third-party services and links are governed by their own policies. We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a revised version and updating the Effective Date.
